.... GUESS WHAT I'VE BEEN UP TO???!

Nevermind, I'll just tell yoooooou.

Well! Remember Bob's Diner?
Remember how there was only one chapter, and I said I'd end it there, unless I came up with additional diner-related ideas later-on????

WELL! I have at least four basic plot devices.
Everyone loves plot devices. (And I'm sure if I really needed more, I could grasp some generic ones out of... places.)


Okay! Recently, I re-read "Cafe Kichijouji De."
It's one of my fav series. And reading it always makes me want to draw things related to Bob's Diner. :D

Also! I recently re-watched the "Doujin Work" anime. (It's very short, so could be done in one sitting.)
Watching that makes me want to draw manga in general.

And right now, my playlist finally looped back around to Speedbump... Which just makes me generally happy and in a creative mood. (It takes about a month to get through my playlist, I think..... I should take out the things that I don't like as much, anymore.)



ANYWAY! Really, those plot devices are the only news about Bob's Diner... BUT!

Guess what else I did?

I finally scripted out and drew the story-boards for the last five pages of Chapter six of Mechakucha. After that, we can officially put it behind us.
And, maybe, one day those characters can move on to a newer, better manga. One that isn't the result of a sleep-depraved high schooler's poorly-planned scribblings. :D

I remember the night that I was drawing the character design for "Matomo" (and selecting his name), I was watching an episode of Abenobashi, and only half-way paying attention. lol.
Ah, that was back when TechTV (G4, now) still had anime.
I miss Gad Guard~~~


ANYWAY! I might actually finish chapter six, some time this decade. :D

October 4, 2004 (if I'm not mistaken), was the day that I started that sad little manga. XD
So, this October, it'll have been four years ago.
And a lot of that time was spent in hiatus. :D


And as for Open Space. I'm going to start mapping that series out anew, using the proper creative process... As I should have done like a year ago. XD

And I'll try to actually get things done....

I checked, and it's been over a year (late february/early march, 2007) since I started working on Open Space.... I really regret taking such a long hiatus. I'm a bad, bad girl. XD

So, yeah. Look forward to THINGS. (Mildly.)
