Okay, sculpture time- Go!

I just got 25 pounds of clay in the mail, so I'll be doing things with it, until I've used it all up.

That means no time for drawings, manga, or other [art] things. Just sculpture, for the moment.

So far, all I've done is divide the giant block of clay into ten slabs of a more manageable size. (And put them into zip-lock bags.)

It smells nice, too. :O

Okay Dawa, stop sniffing your hands.

It's going to be fun, working with clay... But my Desk/room will be so messy, when it's all done. D:

Fan Death - Dawa's Fate?!

I've been reading about this in several places, recently; since it's summer, and all.

Apparently, if you go to sleep, and leave the fan running all night--- YOU'LL DIE!

I have to say, though: I've been sleeping with my fan on EVERY NIGHT (all summer, and the hot part of spring; for the past few years).

My nose is a bit stuffy, but I'm quite alive.

My conclusion: Dawa == Invincible.
In an intergalactic battle to the death between Dawasaurus and the Oscillating Vase-Shaped-Fan OF DOOM... I'm quite confident that Dawa would be victorious. :D

We have AC, but my room's vent doesn't seem to work as well as the others. So in actuality: If I didn't have my fan on all night, I'd probably die of heat-stroke, or something.

... VASE OF LIFE!

Soon, Kookaburra!

Recently, I've been mentioning (in other places) a series of pictures drawn to go along with the Kookaburra nursery rhyme.....
They had been "done" for a while, but I just hadn't gotten around to scanning them.

Well! I scanned them this morning.......!
But I've been gone all day, and now I'm sleepy, so I'll slap them together into a deviation, tomorrow.

But, most of them aren't coloured, and I might never do the rest, anyway... *shrug*

Yeah, so look forward to that!

MAN--

Man, I want a Vespa. D:

I don't even want a car (or even a manly blue pickup truck), anymore. When I finally learn to drive, I just want to ride a Vespa everywhere!

The past couple of days, I researched them a lot, and saved a bunch of pictures of models I like to my VESPA folder.

It seems I'm most attracted to vintage Vespas from the sixties through the eighties. <3

But a brand-new Granturismo Vespa would be fine, too. :D

"But, what about when it's raining/snowing?"
I just won't go out!
Rain makes me sleepy and snow is unplesant to drive through no matter what vehical you're in.

VESPAAAA~~~!

I'm not sure if my parents would approve, though. Mommy wants me to have a Jeep.
But, we can't all be Jeep-People. D:

Anyway! I have been making art, it's just that I keep forgetting to scan things. XD

Mostly, I've been working on Open Space, and I'll continue in that direction.

SO I WAS THINKING--

I was thinking about Open Space, trying to come up with the plot and stuff... And I was thinking about the best way to portray the characters...

And I remembered some Disney comics that we had when we were little... Each issue had two different stories. You read one, the regular way; then you flip the book upside down, turn it over, and read the other story.

It was pretty neat. In concept.
But you would have to enjoy both series, or you'd end up paying full price for half the comic. XD

I also remember that the Batman cereal had a Batman comic in each box. (But that's deliciously unrelated.) :D

ANYWAY!

I was thinking that, in this manner, I could show the story from the points of view of both the Pirates and those space-police dudes.

So, you could read the pirate side and flip it over and read the cop side... Or, you could only read the side for the characters you want to support. :O

Of course, you wouldn't have to read one, to be able to enjoy the other. But it would be INTERESTING to compare the two. (And proceed to write your college thesis on it. Go ahead. I won't mind.)

So... WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Should I do that, or is it a silly idea?
Maybe just because I like to see things from every angle, doesn't mean other people want to?
????
